Liebster Award!

Thanks so much to Lyn for nominating me! I was so surprised as my blog is only just starting out, but I'm very grateful nonetheless!

Basically what I have to do is first tell you 11 random facts about myself, then answer 11 questions from Lyn, make up 11 of my own questions and finally nominate 11 bloggers to do the same!

11 RANDOM FACTS

1. I've been taking Taekwondo lessons for over three years and in 2013 I finally earned my Black Belt! 

2. I went to SIX concerts last year, Ed Sheeran, One Direction (twice), Olly Murs, Jedward and Fall Out Boy! They were all incredible!!

3. I love cats ♥

4. I've been overseas twice, once to Hong Kong and once to Hawaii. I would love to travel all around the world one day!

5. I've spoken (face to face) to all five members of One Direction!! Woooo!!

6. My middle name is Rose.

7. I absolutely love singing and have taken lessons since Year 7.

8. I can't fall asleep unless I've brushed & flossed my teeth.

9. Last year I hosted a radio show (broadcasted all over Melbourne) along with two other girls every fortnight for 10 weeks. I got to play all my favourite music, it was heaps of fun ^-^

10. I'm OBSESSED with Dan and Phil. So much so, I wake up at 6am every Monday just to watch their show on BBC Radio 1 (damn you time zones... can't I just live in the UK?)

11. I first read Harry Potter at age 7/8 and have loved it ever since ♥

England! I love everything about that country.

My mum definitely, she's creative, intelligent, loving, thoughtful, strong.. she's just an all-round amazing person ♥

Hmm, thats a tough one. I'd love to be Carrie Hope Fletcher for a day, especially if it means I get her amazing voice!

M.A.C... I wan't ALL their makeup!

6. If you could only eat one thing for the rest of your life, what would that be?

Salad or sushi... I can never get enough of them.

My mum, my friends, Zoe, Louise, Tanya...

9. Do you speak another language other than English? If not, what would you like to learn?

No, I know a little Italian but that's about it. I think it would be cool to speak Japanese, then I could watch all my favourite animes without an English dub!

Share it amongst my family, put it in the bank, and of course spoil myself a little bit ;)

January Bellabox 2014

My very kind Mum gave me a 3-month subscription to Bellabox for Christmas. This was the first one I received, so I thought I would do a review on the products they gave me!

 

Palmolive Ayurituel Shower Gel

This was a great shower gel, it lathered well and left my skin feeling clean and soft. It's very gentle which is a plus for sensitive skin. The only thing I didn't really like was the smell of it.

Phytomer Hydra Original Thirst Melting Cream

I liked this moisturizer a lot actually, it kept my skin hydrated throughout the entire day. It was light, absorbent and silky. Big tick!

INM Australia Out The Door Topcoat

I was quite disappointed with this topcoat. At first it looked glossy and reflective on my nails, but they had chipped within one day.

Avène Hydrance Optimale Rich Hydrating Cream

This is an excellent moisturizer! My skin felt super nourished and healthy after using this only a few times. I think my skin is Normal to Oily, but a bit dehydrated. This moisturizer is for Dry to Very Dry Skin, but was fine for me when I used it sparingly on the oily areas of my face (T-zone). It's very exxy; $91 for 50ml, so I wouldn't buy it myself. Although if you're willing to spend that much, then I definitely recommend it!

Tuscan Tan Wash Off Bronzing Mousse

I was quite excited to try this as it would be my first time using a fake tan, although when I went to try it out, the pump wasn't working and the mousse wouldn't come out. Very disappointing!

Model Co Fat Lash Volumising Mascara

This mascara had the best brush I've ever used! It's a standard brush but with a small knob on the end which is perfect for your bottom lashes. It makes your lashes look very long and full, although sometimes it can become a little clumpy.

Wotnot Facial Wipes

I'm not a fan of facial wipes, so I didn't have very high hopes for these ones. Surprisingly, they were quite good! They removed all of my makeup - even waterproof mascara! I could feel that they were not fully cleansing my face and pores, it removed everything on the surface - no more. I think these wipes are ideal for if you are staying at a friends, not for everyday use.

School Makeup & Beauty Essentials

It's that time again for Aussie students... back to school *SIGH*
These holidays went far too quickly ☹ Anyway, I decided I would show you my 'School Makeup & Beauty Essentials', so basically everything I rushedly slap on my face in about 5 minutes on a school morning. Keep in mind, wearing makeup is not allowed at my school so I need to keep it to a minimum and try not to make it too obvious (that means no fancy winged eyeliner or bright lipstick..boo).

January Favourites

Hi everyone, here are some things I've loved this January!

THE BODY SHOP BODY BUTTERS
Oh how I love the Body Butters from The Body Shop! These are the three I've been loving most - Pink Grapefruit, Mango and Moringa. They smell amazing, even once they are on. They are absorbent and make my skin feel soft and nourished. I'm always carrying at least one in my bag!

ST. IVES APRICOT SCRUB
This is one of those scrubs that make a difference to your skin instantly; even after one use my skin felt smoother and cleaner. It's fantastic! I try to use it once every three days and the long term effects are even better - my face and pores look much clearer, and my skin is noticeably softer.

CHAPSTICK LIP CONDITIONER

My lips became very chapped during January and this Lip Conditioner was my saviour! This is by far the most conditioning and moisturizing lip balm I've ever used... trust me when I say its a godsent!

FROZEN

The flawless soundtrack and incredible characters... I couldn't help but fall in love with this movie. My whole family came along to watch it (kind of un-willingly) and left the cinema with massive smiles on their faces! The storyline is so powerful, yet quite easy to understand, so it suits all ages. I have a feeling I'll be listening to this soundtrack for a long time!

SALUTE - LITTLE MIX

I've always been a big fan of Little Mix, right back when they were in the X Factor UK! They did not disappoint with this album; I felt it was a big step up from their first - 'DNA'. The songs range from upbeat, fun songs like 'Move', to slow, emotional ballads like 'Good Enough'. I definitely recommend listening to this album!
